LifeHouse Ministries: The Beginning

It is with great enthusiasm that I write this post! As many of you know LifeHouse started as a deep conviction from God while reading a description of the early church in Acts 2. In the passage, people were coming together with "glad and sincere hearts, sharing with all who had need, and lives were being saved"! The Lord moved me to find the largest affordable space possible in order to share it with others. LifeHouse was named in the prayer that God would fill the space with life - and He has!

Many people ask, “What exactly does LifeHouse do?” I love the question because it allows me to transition seamlessly into who we are. As a community of Christ followers, we believe we are better together than living in silos. With a tagline of ‘inspire.ignite.implement.’, our heart is to foster conversations and connectivity leading to action. What does that look like in practical terms?  Through providing office space to start up Christian nonprofits, hosting a variety of groups throughout our city who share common goals, serving within our community and facilitating a wide variety of meetings, we create an environment allowing creativity to flow. We are currently the home to Jackson Youth for Christ and Jackson Leadership Foundation.
