An Evening to Remember: Wise Women Wise Choices

Oh my goodness – what an incredible night as women throughout the Jackson metro area ignored the rain and gathered together to proclaim God’s faithfulness! Pam Tebow’s spot-on message about Influence inspired us all to not only recognize our potential but to be intentional about putting our unique God Gifts to work for the Kingdom! LifeHouse is so honored to be a recipient of proceeds from the first Wise Women Wise Choices event held on Sept. 11th, 2018. The event was sold out and everything was perfect thanks to the hard work of many people – including our Board member Cheryl Armstrong. Read below what Cheryl has to say about watching her God-size dream become a reality! —Karyn Thornhill, LifeHouse Ministries Founder

Remembering the first Wise Women Wise Choices Event

What an honor it was to serve as the first Chair for the Wise Women Wise Choices event hosted by the Flowood Chamber, as well as having a personal interest as a Board Member of LifeHouse, one of the recipients of the event! The event was sold out with 350 women at the beautiful Ivy in Flowood with delicious food from Fresh Cut Catering. The evening began with music from two very talented music ministers from Pinelake: Katie Bowles and Davy Flowers. After everyone was seated, our three panelists, Sherry Toler, Shani Meck, and Davy Flowers, fielded questions from the audience. We were so honored to have such talent speak at this event. Their vulnerability, honesty, and recommendations on various women's issues with were so appreciated!  The featured speaker Pam Tebow captivated our attention with her stories on the mission field, her intentional faith while raising her children, and her passion for telling others about Christ. To top off a powerful evening, all proceeds from the event went to LifeHouse Ministries and Canopy Solutions. It was truly an inspirational evening, and I look forward to next year's Wise Women event!
